Magply has appointed Philip Fergusson as its new Sales and Marketing manager for the IPP Roofing Division to the company.
With an impressive CV and proven track record in the roofing, construction and glazing industries, Philip is also a Fellow at The Institute of Roofing (FloR)*. He has extensive experience including everything from securing multi-million pound contracts for B2B & B2C marketing, setting up strategic alliances and partnerships, procurement & supply chain management and contracts management – to name just some of his skills.
He has held positions ranging from Vice President at Fosroc, Dubai, Commercial/Purchasing Director for SIG Roofing Supplies PLC and Sales/Business Development Director for Spanish Slate Quarries. In his previous post, at Roofglaze Ltd., he filled the role of Sales & Marketing Director, where he managed the sales process, including training and also developed a new commercial strategy for the company.
For IPP Roofing, Philip will be promoting and overseeing the company’s widely specified, high performance Magply Euroclass A1 Non-combustible Boards for all roofing applications.
When not at work, Philip enjoys playing golf, skiing and has an appreciation for marque cars.
*The Institute of Roofing is the only body in the UK, which awards professional qualifications in roofing management.
