Leading washroom and joinery company Washroom Washroom has recently invested in an additional state-of-the-art CNC machine to maximise its manufacturing capabilities and further future-proof its factory this year.
This comes as part of a wider programme of investment including the extension of its factory and offices to accommodate more designers and project managers as well as support staff.
The new Homag flat bed nesting CNC machine, which is now fully up and running in the factory, is the latest new piece of machinery to be installed, alongside a new edge bander and extractor. Using specialist algorithms to find the best fit for different parts on a single sheet to maximise cutting efficiency, the new Homag nesting CNC machine will not only save cutting time but will also reduce material waste, making operations more sustainable. The investment in its facilities also significantly increases its overall manufacturing capacity so the company can comfortably handle a wider range of projects and keep pace with its continued growth.
Its 58,000 sq ft factory also boasts a dedicated storage warehouse to remove reliance on third party suppliers to deliver materials just in time plus a large a mock-up area where the team can build elements of any project full size for client approvals prior to on-site installation. Being able to manufacture in house gives the team control over scheduling, finish quality and the creation of bespoke design elements on all projects.
Washroom and Cre8’s head office and factory is based in Essex, just 30 minutes from London by train, get in touch today if you’d like to arrange a tour of the factory and meet the team to talk through your project requirements.
