The company’s primary focus is on the development of ready-to-install components that minimise the risk of thermal bridges in building structures – new build, renovation and Passivhaus standard.
Schöck is an international specialist in this area and its main product is the Isokorb, a load-bearing thermal insulation element that prevents thermal bridging in cantilever detail such as balconies, parapets, brise soleil and canopies.
There are thousands of variants in the range, allowing connectivity between concrete-to-concrete; concrete-to-steel; and steel-to-steel.
The Alphadock, a sister product to the Isokorb, is also a thermally insulating connection, but for reinforced wall construction. It combines outstanding insulation performance with a high load-bearing capacity.
Other key areas in which the company provides market-leading solutions are impact noise prevention in buildings (Tronsole) and reinforcement technology for tunnel, bridge, infrastructure construction and the power plants (Combar).
